Steam Surface Condenser

For thermal and mechanical design and sizing of steam surface condensers based on heat transfer coefficients in accordance with HEI standards. This program is valid for small cylindrical units or larger condensers used in thermal and nuclear power plants. Other separate and complementary programs exist for the specific internal systems.

Steam Surface Condenser Performance

Based on data taken during the condenser performance test, this program will calculate the expected steam test pressure and compare this value with the actual measured value to then indicate the tube fouling coefficient and the ineffective surface as a percentage of the total. A complementary program  for performance curves also exist.

Dual Pressure Condenser

Similar to the Steam Surface Condenser program, but applicable for different turbine pressure in each shell. Details of the connection between hotwels and turbine necks are give.

Condenser Revamping

Specifically adapted for the modular renovation of steam surface condensers through complete replacement of the tube bundles, this program calculates the performance of the new unit and corresponding production gains for a one year period from turbine and cooling water pump characteristics.

Feedwater Heater

Thermal and mechanical design of feedwater heaters based on HEI standards and heat transfer coefficients for each zone based on classic correlations (Nusslet, McAdams,…) or proprietary methods. Full or split flow heaters are accommodated, as are horizontal and vertical units with up and down channel. In addition to the performance results required to complete heater specification datasheet, the program also generates a heater drawing showing the principal dimensions of the unit and of the tube support system, tube layout and results sheet for thickness and weights.

Feedwater Heater Performance

Performance analysis of an existing feedwater heater based on measured performance test data. The program evaluates the performance of each zone of the heater and indicates the percentage of inactive surface in each zone, suggesting the possible cause of poor/inadequate performance where predicted.

Desuperheater

Conceived specifically for desuperheating units, it is a special heater with only a desuperheating surface. The thermal and mechanical design is similar to the previous program.

District Heating

Thermal and mechanical design of heaters for a District Heating System based on HEI standards and heat transfer coefficients based on classic correlations. Heaters are accommodated as are horizontal and specialy for vertical units. In addition the program also generates a heater drawing showing the principal dimensions of the unit and of the tube support system, tube layout and results sheet for thickness and weights.

Steam Transformer

Thermal and mechanical design and sizing of steam/steam transformation systems, in which steam at a specifics conditions is obtained from steam at others different conditions. The corresponding results give the thermal and dimensional data of each unit in the system.

Water Heat Exchanger

Thermal design and mechanical calculation of water/water heat exchanger for applications in power stations.

Deaerator

For thermal and mechanical design and sizing of deaerators. This program is valid for small industrial units, medium vertical units or larger horizontal used in industries and thermal or nuclear power plants.

In-line Feedwater Heaters Performance

Performance calculation of a complete battery of in-line feedwater heaters for a maximum of six heaters (LP & HP) in-line with cascade drain type, reinjected by booster pump or lost to the outside.
